The Armstrong School District is cutting teaching jobs in this year’s budget.
Last night, the school board voted 7-2 to eliminate seven full-time teachers, along with a couple of part-time educators and a nurse.
The high school’s library and French programs were cut entirely.
The budget received pushback from the teacher’s union, who say the decision will be “far-reaching and felt for years to come.”
