Armstrong is kicking off their annual campaign to fight hunger.
It’s known as Avenge Hunger Month and it officially got underway this week.
Over the next month, Armstrong will collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations that will go toward local feeding programs.
The collection will benefit over 200 feeding programs over Armstrong’s coverage area, including Butler.
Donations can be dropped off at Armstrong facilities through October 5th.
Since the initiative began seven years ago, Armstrong has collected nearly 194,000 pounds of food and nearly $114,000 in donations.
