Forward Township is taking the next steps in a plan to add to a walking trail.
The township is advertising a bid for a new ADA paved walking trail at Ash Top Park. The trail would connect to the Mary McElhinny walking trail, which is also in the process of being renovated.
The township received grant funding for the project, and was assisted by the county’s parks and recreation department.
