Officials in Mercer County announced they have arrested a suspect in the attempted homicide that happened late last week in Butler.
The attempted homicide happened Thursday around 3:45 a.m. on the 3800 block of Route 38. A 38-year-old man was shout multiple times and was taken to the hospital. His current condition is not known.
In a release from the City of Sharon Police Bureau, the arrest was made on Saturday around 7:30 p.m. on the 300 block of South Myers Avenue.
Police have not released the suspects name but as they were attempting to escape apprehension they jumped out of a second-floor window and then jumped off a roof.
The suspect was injured in the attempted escape and was taken to the hospital as they remain in custody.
Sharon Police said they worked with the United States Marshals Service to serve the search warrant at the home.
