Pennsylvania’s Auditor General says that he’s finding inconsistencies in the business waiver process a part of Governor Wolf’s closure order.
Democrat Eugene DePasquale said that his office has found more than 500 businesses received answers from the Department of Community and Economic Development that later changed.
He also said that it appears the waiver program was a “subjective process built on shifting sands of changing guidance,” and that led to confusion among business owners.
His full report details inconsistencies in orders for businesses like hair salons, garden centers, notaries and more.
