High School students are once again invited to participate in a statewide financial literacy competition.
Auditor General Tim DeFoor is encouraging local young people in grades 9 through 12 to make submissions to the 11th annual “What Does Financial Literacy Mean to Me?” contest.
Submissions about being smart with money can come in the form of a short essay or poem. Three winners and three honorable mentions will receive cash prizes from $500 to $2,500.
The deadline for submissions is March 17th. More information about this competition can be found on the website of Harrisburg University.
