The public is invited to attend a book talk and signing by a member of the Butler Area School Board this weekend.
The Butler County Historical Society is hosting an afternoon gathering with author Cecilia Tomko on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Senator Lowrie House on West Diamond Street.
Tomko will discuss her new book Sacred Stones: A Butler Book and share how she included pieces of Butler’s history in her story.
Books will be available for purchase at the event or on Amazon.
