Authorities are continuing their investigation into a murder suicide that occurred earlier this weekend in Butler County.
According to State Police, authorities were called to the West Sunbury Cemetery on Saturday afternoon to assist a suicidal man. Upon arrival, officials say that they found 46-year-old Charles Smith of Evans City who was deceased.
Police also say that around the same time, authorities were also called to a residence in Forward Township were they found 39-year-old Terry Bolan who was also deceased.
State Police say that they believe that Smith shot Bolan at the Forward Township residence before fleeing and taking his own life.
