Authorities are searching for the suspect involved in a robbery that occurred last week at a Mercer County convenience store.
According to State Police, an unidentified man entered the Kwik Fill Service Station on Leesburg Grove City Road in Springfield Township around 3:20am last Wednesday (July 6th).
Police say that the suspect, who was holding an unknown item wrapped in a dark cloth, passed a note to the clerk demanding money. While it is unclear if the suspect received any money, authorities say that he later fled the scene in a silver sedan that he allegedly parked at a nearby business.
Officials describe the suspect as a white man with brown hair in his twenties or thirties who was approximately six feet tall and approximately 240 pounds. The suspect was also wearing a medical mask, a black hat and tee shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes during the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police in Mercer at 724-662-6162.
