The judge overseeing the case in the death of 15-year-old Aiden Lutz has issued an order that will impact those who attend the trial.
In effort to ensure 41-year-old Joshua Rivera receives a fair day in court, visiting Senior Judge James Arner has signed an order that bans certain colors, wording, and any objects.
During previous court hearings, community members would come dressed in yellow with shirts or signs that said “Justice for Aiden.”
Arner has banned both the color yellow and signs and anyone in violation of this order will not be allowed into the courtroom during the November trial.
The Butler County Sheriff’s office will be enforcing the order.
