The Butler Area School District will look to their food service provider for help with keeping school facilities clean.
At their meeting Monday, the board approved a three-year agreement with Metz Custodial Services.
The district has been having problems with staffing as five of 41 positions are currently vacant but Metz will provide operational control and supervision as well as training and purchasing recommendations. No current Butler Area School District employees will lose their jobs.
Metz took over as the food service provider for Butler at the beginning of the current school year.
