The Baylor Bears defeated Gonzaga 86-70 last night to win their first men’s national basketball championship. The Zags failed to complete a perfect regular season, losing for the first time in 32 games this year and 36 dating back to the 2019-2020 season. Baylor’s Jared Butler scored 22 points, including four three-pointers, and was named the Final Four’s most outstanding player.
