It’s the first day of the fall semester for a pair of local colleges.
Students at Butler County Community College and Slippery Rock University head back to class today.
SRU is welcoming over 1,500 incoming freshmen and transfer students to the campus.
Officials at both colleges say enrollment numbers will be official later this semester.
The 14-week fall semester runs through the first week of December.
