Butler County Community College has announced that a student who attends the main campus in Butler Township has tested positive for COVID-19.
BC3 was notified by the student that the student was last on campus March 9th. The college has alerted students who attended classes with that student as well as faculty who taught those classes.
Any students, faculty, or staff experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should contact their healthcare provider. Those without healthcare should contact a community healthcare center that serves adults without health insurance.
The student’s identity is being withheld to protect the privacy rights of the student. BC3 will continue remote instruction for all students for the remainder of this semester.
