Butler County Community College has chosen a longtime member of their team to take over an administrative position.
Dr. Josh Novak will begin as Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management later this week. This is one of three VP positions at BC3.
Novak earned his doctorate in higher education management from the University of Pittsburgh. Since beginning at BC3 in 2011, he has served in progressive dean of students roles such as co-chair of the college’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council and programs that assist low-income students like BC3’s Pioneer Pantry. He will also oversee BC3’s additional locations in Armstrong, Jefferson, Lawrence, and Mercer counties as well as campus police and security and grant services.
Novak takes over for Dr. Case Willoughby who had been in that role since 2012 and is moving on to take a position
