Butler County Community College is getting ready to welcome students to a new semester with some new changes to accommodate education during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
BC3 President Dr. Nick Neupauer talked to our newsroom on how the college is preparing.
Some BC3 classes will be offered “remotely” which means that students and faculty will need to be online together at the same time while others will be designated as “online” or “asynchronous” which means that students can log in to do their work when convenient.
In order to accommodate students who will be on campus with different needs than in years past, the college plans to utilize the available space in creative ways.
BC3’s 2020 Convocation ceremony will take place next week in a remote capacity with classes beginning Monday, August 24th.
