Butler County Community College will be making upgrades in the coming weeks to the student union.
The Board of Trustees approved two resolutions for upgrades to the student union, the first in 20 years according to school officials.
The updates will see new furniture and new flooring.
Estimated costs were $128,267 for furniture from KI Furniture. The second was for $43,000 with Butler Flooring.
Officials say upgrades to the area will meet the needs of students.
