The Butler County Community College women’s volleyball team swept the Community College of Allegheny County 3-0 Saturday to win the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference Championship and the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Region-20 crown. BC3 improved to 18-5 this season following their sixth consecutive match sweep. The Lady Pioneers will host Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute from North Carolina this Saturday at 1 pm in the Junior College Division III Mid-Atlantic championship. The winner of Saturday’s match will advance into the 16-team national championship tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
