Butler County Community College is entering day two of a school closure due to a ransomware attack.
But, the timing of this attack is making it difficult for students in their final week of classes. BC3 officials said in a statement yesterday that they are working with students to adjust assignments and deadlines as necessary for their courses.
They add students will not be penalized for delays caused by the attacks.
BC3 officials did not say whether this will impact finals week—which is scheduled to start next Monday.
