Butler County Community College had its largest class of graduates for their relatively new practical nursing program.
12 students received their pins at a ceremony last week. It was the largest graduating class since the program was re-established four years ago.
BC3 officials say the students are off to the workforce, where they are earning rates up to nearly $35 per hour.
Next year’s practical nursing program is expected to graduate 18 students.
