A giant bear was spotted in a Butler Township backyard over the weekend.
Our news partners at WPXI say a man spotted a large black bear near his back porch on Adrian Lane, which is near Greenwood Drive. This happened around 2 a.m. Friday.
The homeowner wants his neighbors to know of the black bear’s presence.
Game Commission officials say bears are coming out of hibernation and may be more visible over the next few weeks.
