Bears are the focus of an event this weekend at a local park.
McConnells Mill Park staff will present “Beary Cool Black Bears” from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Kildoo Pavilion.
The unique lives of these large and elusive creatures will be explored, and the park naturalist will discuss the challenges they are facing.
Attendees will also learn about what to do during a bear encounter.
