There is still time to join a local student group at an annual outdoor activity next month.
Butler’s Best Buddies Club is holding their 6th annual Eggstravaganza April 12th on the campus of the Butler Senior High School.
This event will include a 5K Easter Egg Dash, a one-mile Bunny Hop fun run and walk as well as Easter Egg hunts for kids 10 years old and younger. Those planning to participate are asked to register by Friday in order to be guaranteed a race shirt.
Best Buddies is an international non-profit organization with a mission to create opportunities for one-to-one friendship between students with intellectual or developmental disabilities and other peer students. Buddy pairs talk at least once a week, spend time together at least twice a month, and gather for group activities once a month.
