A bicyclist was flown to a Pittsburgh area hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Butler Township Tuesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 4:30 p.m. for a collision on North Main Street extension near Armstrong Place in Bon Aire.
Crews from Butler Township, Butler City, and Butler Ambulance responded to find the rider down and not alert.
A STAT medical helicopter was called to land at the Clearview Mall and transported the person for treatment of unknown injuries.
