The National Sports Media Association voted longtime Pitt broadcaster Bill Hillgrove the winner of the second annual Woody Durham Voice of College Sports Award. The 78-year old Hillgrove will be presented the award during a banquet in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in June. Hillgrove, who also calls the Pittsburgh Steelers radio games, is the second-longest tenured broadaster in Division I – one year behind Duquesne’s Ray Goss.
