A new bill that would regulate A.I. data centers and their impact on communities has passed through the state house.
The bill will establish a regulatory framework for data centers in the Commonwealth.
The bill passed the house with a vote of 104 to 95, along party line, with Democrats supporting the bill.
It now moves to the Senate Energy and Resources Committee which is controlled by Republicans. Local Senators Elder Vogel and Scott Hutchinson are members of members of the committee.
