A bill legalizing recreational marijuana in Pennsylvania advanced past the house passing along party lines.
The bill passed by one vote at 102 to 101.
The bill would also expunge “draconian drug policies”, reinvest funds into communities harmed by the war on drugs, providing sustainable cannabis business opportunities for local and diverse operators, and regulation on packaging and public health connections.
The vote in the house was split along party lines. It will now head to senate committees before a vote on the senate floor.
