Game Commission officials say that the bird flu was responsible for killing about 200 snow geese near Allentown.
The birds were found in both Northampton and Leigh Counties. Officials say preliminary testing shows the highly pathogenic avian influenza, also known as HPAI.
Officials also say that the situation is ongoing as other sick birds were found in those locations.
If you find any sick or dead wild birds, you can report it to the Game Commission by calling, email, or visiting their website.
