Bishop David Zubik of the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh says he will not be endorsing a candidate for president despite increasing calls for him to do so.
Zubik said while he encourages everyone to exercise their right to vote, it’s not his role, nor that of the church, to tell people who to vote for.
He also warns that not all materials that claim to be Catholic reflect the Catholic teachings. He said the Diocese has resources available on voting available on their website.
