Local residents are being asked to join in an upcoming effort to save lives.
A Vitalant drive will take place Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. at John E. Mair Lodge No. 729 in Clay Avenue in Mars.
Anyone who gives blood before the end of this month will have a chance to win a car of their choice.
