Butler Memorial Hospital has received an award for their care of stroke patients.
The American Heart Association’s GoldPlus Get With the Guidelines Stroke Quality Achievement Award signifies that Butler Memorial Hospital has ensured stroke patients get the best treatment aligned with nationally recognized, research based guidelines.
The hospital had to demonstrate commitment to quality care for stroke patients as well as education for patients so that they can manage their continued health and rehabilitation from home.
Butler Memorial Hospital also received the Association’s Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll award for meeting quality measures of compliance for 12 consecutive months.
