The man who killed 11 people at a Pittsburgh Synagogue has arrived the facility where he will be served his sentence.
In early August Robert Bowers was sentenced to death by a jury after months long trial. Bowers was previously housed at the Butler County prison since being first arrested and booked for his trial.
In July of 2021 U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland placed a moratorium on the federal death penalty. There are currently 43 prisoners on federal death row according to the death penalty information center.
