A box truck went into a ditch and injured its driver in an accident yesterday in Winfield Township.
It happened just after 6 a.m. on Winfield Road near Edgewood Drive. Police say 60-year-old Charles Senkyere of Cranberry Township tried to make a left turn and went off the road and into a ditch.
The front of the truck was significantly damaged in the accident.
Senkyere had to be taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for chest pain.
