Residents will have the chance to find bargains and a delicious meal while supporting a local group this weekend.
The BSA Troop 683 Rummage Sale and Barbeque fundraiser begins Saturday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and continues Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon at American Legion Post 683 in Cabot.
The troop of all girls has been collecting donations of new and used items such as clothes, shoes, books, and garden tools from families across Butler and Allegheny Counties since May.
The meal menu includes pulled pork sandwiches, loaded nachos, loaded baked potatoes, hot dogs, and baked beans.
All proceeds will support the Troop 683 Trailer Fund in order to purchase a trailer to haul supplies to camp.
