As rain numbers have increased across the Commonwealth in the previous week two state organizations are lifting burn bans.
The department of Conservation and Natural Resources and the game control board have both lifted burn bans.
For the DCNR that means the return of campfires in state parks and forest lands. The Game Commission will now allow fires on state game lands.
The bans were put on after extend dry weather but with recent rain and snow fall the ban was lifted.
