The Butler Boys Track & Field team were runner-up at the PIAA 3A Championships over the weekend at Shippensburg University. Butler had 30 points to State College who had 36. Guinness Brown was the runner-up in the 400-meter run and finished fourth in the 200. Skylar Vavro was fourth in the 1,600 meter run. Knoch’s Mike Formica was fifth in that event. Butler’s CJ Singleton took fifth in the 3,200. Tristan McGarrah was runner-up in the Pole Vault.
–Seneca Valley’s Tyler Yurich finished second in the 100-meter run.
–At the 2A championships – North Catholic’s Tyler Paschall won the 200-meter race and was runner-up in the 400.
–North Catholic tennis player Nicholas Scheller was the runner-up in the PIAA 2A Singles Championships. He fell 6-7, 6-1, 6-4 in the title match.
