Butler City is once again preparing to have a fireworks display for the Fourth of July, but Mayor Bob Dandoy says they need some help.
“Last year we had a spectacular Zambelli fireworks display and we were really happy with it. We want to do it again this year, but we cannot do it without the support of the community,” Dandoy said.
Dandoy says the cost of the fireworks display is around $20,000. He says because the City budget does not have much flexibility, they are asking for help in supporting the show.
The fireworks are displayed behind Michelle Krill Field at Historic Pullman Park. Any community member, business, or other entity can make a donation.
Dandoy says the easiest way to learn more about it, is by calling the City Building.
