The improvement work at the Butler City Building continues to progress.
After making repairs due to a burst water pipe last fall, Council has been making additional improvements to many areas of the structure.
One of the jobs approved at Council’s Thursday night meeting was to accept a proposal from EverOn, LLC in the amount of just over $45,000 for network cabling infrastructure.
The work will be completed as soon as possible and includes first floor employee workspaces as well as the third floor Council Chambers. Once finished, City officials plan to install new furniture and move some employees to different areas in order to work in some spaces that are now occupied.
The money to pay for this work comes from the City’s Legacy Funds.
