Butler County is applying for another grant to help with the redesign of Diamond Park.
Commissioners approved seeking a $250,000 grant from the DCED that would go toward updating the park on Main Street in Butler.
The county previously secured a $250,000 grant from DCNR to go toward the project.
Officials say with more events happening at the park in downtown Butler, they are trying to make it more conducive to hosting those events.
No timeline was available on when the project could begin.
