As residents try to recover from the financial impact of the pandemic, those concerned about paying rent have a new option for help.
Butler County has received over $12 million in federal funding for an Emergency Rental Assistance Program administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.
Locally, the program is administered through the County’s Human Services Department with assistance from the Center for Community Resources. Contact the county or CCR for more information about eligibility criteria.
This program does not officially open until March 29th but applications are now being accepted through the state’s COMPASS system.
