According to the state Department of Health’s daily update, there are seven new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Butler County.
That brings the total in the county to 150.
Meanwhile, there were just over 1,100 new cases across Pennsylvania today, bringing the number of confirmed cases in the state to 26,490.
The state also says that 647 people have died as a result of COVID-19 symptoms.
The Butler Health System is reporting a slight increase in hospitalizations. As of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating eight people for coronavirus symptoms including three patients in the ICU which is an increase of one compared to Tuesday.
A total of over 2,000 tests have been administered at Butler Memorial Hospital with over 170 positive results received and nearly 70 results pending.
There are currently 2,390 people hospitalized in Pennsylvania with COVID-19 and 661 of those patients are on ventilators.
