A new building that would house equipment and vehicles for Butler County could soon start construction.
County commissioners approved reassigning RCAP funding, which was about $2 million, toward construction of a new EMS garage. This will be located by the 911 Center at the Sunnyview property.
The grants were previously awarded for projects in the county that ultimately did not come to fruition.
Officials say the garage should be completed by fall 2027.
