Turnout for this yesterday’s election in Butler County was nearly 50,000 voters.
That works out to about 36 percent for voter turnout.
Just over 38,000 people went to the polls to cast their ballots. Another 11,746 submitted a mail-in ballot.
Compared to the last municipal election held in 2021, voter turnout was up about three percent. That year saw around 45,000 voters cast a ballot.
There are just over 137,000 registered voters in Butler County.
