Governor Tom Wolf and the Pennsylvania Department of Health will not be issuing an order this weekend that would affect the ability of bars and restaurants to offer seated service.
According to the Butler County Board of Commissioners, the most recent figures connected to the local rate of COVID-19 infection do not support further restrictions from the current green phase of reopening.
Earlier this week, PA Department of Health officials had indicated that a short term closure was imminent.
The Commissioners went on to say that the county does not regulate restaurants and bars so any restrictions such as forced closures would have to be mandated and enforced at the state level.
