The Butler Area School Board has decided to give their two top administrators new contracts.
Superintendent Dr. Brian White was hired by the district six years ago with a five year contract which was renewed three years ago. Once another window opened to negotiate a new deal, the board wasted no time in approving a new five year agreement with the top administrator that runs until September 1st, 2028.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Brian Slamecka also received a new contract that will keep him at Butler for the next five years.
White’s new contract will pay him an increase of two percent per year while Slamecka’s deal will increase his pay by three percent annually.
