As the United States Surgeon General warns of a tough week ahead, Butler Health System officials say internal surge capacity plans are complete.
All ventilators, critical care, and anesthesia are available. Also emergency, surgery, and critical care beds will expand into alternative units and other locations.
Butler Health System confirmed that Broad Street Elementary School and Benbrook Ambulatory Surgery Center as backup facilities.
The hospital says their supply of personal protective equipment is adequate at this time, but they are still accepting donations.
