As local health care facilities are dropping mask mandates, Butler Health System is still requiring staff to keep theirs on.
According to Butler Health System Infectious Disease Director Dr. John Love, the hospital’s current policy “requires staff to mask with all patient interactions.”
Love also said in a statement that the hospital recommends all patients and visitors to continue wearing a mask. Anyone who is exhibiting respiratory symptoms must wear a mask at all times at BHS facilities.
Butler Health System says their infection control teams are constantly monitoring data in order to make decisions.
