Walk-ins are now being accepted at the Butler Health System’s vaccine clinic.
According to officials, both the Clearview Mall clinic and Clarion location will be accepting walk-ins from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
Now, officials say they still prefer online registrations.
“We know doses to expect and make available on that given day,” Jana Panther, director of public relations for the hospital said in an email. “[It] allows us to have a glimpse of doses/amounts needed for demand to request adequate supplies from the state.”
Panther also added that appointments help the clinic move efficiently in order to keep it fast paced, socially distanced, and avoid crowding.
But, overall the hospital’s biggest concern is getting people in the community vaccinated.
“We want vaccine in the arms of the community and will make it work,” Panther added. “Top priority!”
Appointments are widely available now to anyone over the age of 16. View the appointment page here.
