The Butler Area Public Library will be receiving a large amount of state funding to help with renovations.
According to State Representative Marci Mustello, the library has been awarded just over $95,000.
The funding will be used to help the library update its heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, create public meeting space and improve accessibility.
This money comes from the Keystone Recreation Park and Conservation Fund which uses a portion of the revenue generated by Pennsylvania’s Realty Transfer Tax.
