Butler Area School District is looking for input as they change the structure of their schools.
Superintendent Dr. Brian White wrote that the district is currently undergoing construction projects in order to rearrange where certain grades attend school.
White said elementary buildings will house kindergarten through 5th grade; the Intermediate High School will house 6th-8th grade, and the Senior High will be for 9th-12th grade.
In the letter, White also said that having the 9th grade move the Senior High will present some challenges, so he’s hoping to get feedback from community members for their high school renewal process. There are four meetings scheduled over the next couple of months.
